I'm a child of the 80s, a Taurus, a twin, a Frank Sinatra fan, a bit of a ketchup addict, and an eternal optimist. Okay that last part's not true, but I've learned that sometimes you really just have to laugh your way through a difficult situation (case in point - I was married during Hurricane Irene).
Born and raised in New Jersey, I'm a total East Coaster who walks fast and talks with her hands (that's also because I'm half Italian). I studied at Rutgers University where I earned a bachelor's degree in communication and truly developed an affinity for writing. After college I left the great state of New Jersey and headed south to Texas where I not only learned the two-step, along with a number of other ballroom dances, but earned a master's degree in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. I spent a year working just outside the Houston area before returning to my home state.
I love everything about writing, including editing and proofreading. In fact, I can't even read a cereal box without looking for grammatical errors. My love of writing is what brought me here and I hope you enjoy reading my articles, which run the gamut from how to swing dance to how to remove a shrub from your yard (it's not as daunting as you might think).
Thanks for stopping by!
