These are great ideas. I do a lot of DIY . I used contact paper on the light switches in our farm house in the kids bedrooms. It looks great and easy to do. I also love the furniture ideas . I have redone a few pieces for only the cost of the stain . Love that it's done on a budget . Paintable wallpaper also works for cupboard doors. Keep up the great hub. Following .

Instead of wrapping paper I used a load of old Beano magazines which I stuck to the top using wallpaper paste. I also have a glass top panel which sits on top - it looks really good! Thank you for the inspiration!
