I was transplanting my Mass Cane and it fell over, resulting in the top breaking off. Will the top grow if I put it in water? How do I save it? The top, that is.

Answer

You can attempt to root a Mass Cane crown. I recommend researching more information about starting root cuttings for Draceana. I believe Draceana cuttings need soil to start a root cutting, and rooting hormone, so a bit more involved than placing the cutting in water.
