My furnace does not usually start by itself. I can turn the switch on the side of the furnace on and off, and then it will start and run, but it will seldom start otherwise. I replaced the thermostat, but the problem remains. The inducer motor is also fairly new. The light is not blinking. What could it be?

While I don't have enough info here to suggest a resolution, I wouldn't keep doing what you're doing without having a tech look at it. It could potentially be unsafe and cost you more money the longer you wait, not to mention the inconvenience.
